Objective: To create an environment where we introduce group therapy along with creating music and structure to discuss mental health issues.
WHAT WE DO
A seven week program, with discussion and hands on learning, of six key roles in the music industry. Each week a mentor will lead a session in the Legal system, Producing, Writing, Engineering, Stage Performance, Song Composition and will culminate in a graduation of a performance of their project.
WHAT WE WILL ACHIEVE
1. Connecting with these artist through their passion we will be able to identify their mental health status with the use of trained counselors. Every session will have a decompression session where the participants will be able to talk about what bothers them and the events of their day. During this session the counselors will be able to diagnose the participants and will have the opportunity to interact with them 1 on 1.
2. Participants will be able to get a deeper understanding of the music industry. Each week will help them build their musical talents. By the end of the program they will be able to walk away with their ASCAP/BMI licenses, the ability to write, arrange, produce, mix/master and perform their song
